Residential Experiences
What you'll learn
Residential experiences are a fundamental part of Scouting: bringing adventure, building confidence and developing teamwork.
In this module you'll:
gain the knowledge and confidence to organise and lead successful residential experiences for young people.
cover the essentials of how to safely plan an event, build the right team to make it happen, and create lifelong memories.
find out how the Nights Away Permit scheme operates and be ready to start work on earning your own permit.

Assess your learning
Once you've completed the Skills portion of this module, use our Assessment Guide to see how you can put this learning into practice as part of your everyday volunteering.
This quickly puts things together so that a Learning Assessor from our County Learning. Community can sign-off the assessment of your new Skills.
Nights Away Permits
This module does not automatically grant you a Nights Away Permit.
However, if you complete your Nights Away Permit then this can sign-off your Learning Assessment without any further evidence.
